Anyway, it references Madame X's old line, where she literally unsheathes a katana and screams out its name a Kill la Kill reference, before shanking your mother. Jan must have realised how fucking stupid this was, because now she just has a regular sword and doesn't yell out its name like an attack move. What he didn't change was how instead of letting the moment sink in, Melia suddenly appears to steal the show and look cool instead of letting the death of the player's fucking mother have any impact. I won't spoil the mindblowingingly dumb shit that Rejuvenation pulls, but it loves to steal shit from Reborn wholesale or make it even dumber somehow. A lot of this fucking game revolves around the character Melia, she's the top-right blonde. Not only is she super pretty and beloved by her friends and has an order of magnitude more cutscene time dedicated to her than everyone else, she

I don't really have issues with the gameplay until later, but how do you not see the flaws in the writing? Even if you like the subject matter and themes the execution is godawful, especually in Rejuvenations's case. Can you remember every named character?
