David and Cleo are the co-6th gym leaders. There shtick is that they’re a dynamic duo of dumbasses that hatch countless overcomplicated schemes to get themselves boyfriends, and fail spectacularly every time.
David’s the level-headed one with an intense love of fashion and sewing (his design is inspired by yami kawaii and punk styles). A bleading-heart artist, he’ll gladly droan on about the intricate symbolism and deep metaphor of a shirt he dyed purple. He’s talented, but he’s *that* kind of artist.
Cleo’s the ballsier and more ambitious one. She’s typically the one that instigates there schemes aswell. Headstrong, she few-times thinks things through and handles everything with too much emotion. She’s pretty smug and prideful aswell, but she’s got a good heart.
They’re real shtick is “the friends we made along the way”. They’ve fostered a genuine care for each other that’s grown into probably the best friendship in the cast. They’re the “close enough you can casually insult each other and not get offended” kind of close. I’ll go into more of their deals later because if you know me, all my characters have some kind of issue and there’s backstory with these peeps.
