It also made a lot of kids back in the day, me included, actually interested in the metagame shit, and encouraged you to self improve, to step up your game. It's sad seeing that vocal minority or whatever reject it, genuinely or not.

I'm the definition of a Hoennbaby and I don't have it in me to avoid a game that was basically my childhood. I still want to believe that they will include the Battle Frontier at some point, either as DLC, or in the next Kalos game. If not, well, it's not like I don't have other games to play...
