When it comes to acting like children, though, these guys are second to none. If you say these games look bad, they'll just hurl insults and try to shout you down most of the time. They'll ignore any evidence or dismiss any arguments you present to them, like a kid who was just told that Fortnite sucks, because they can't accept the idea that something they enjoy and/or spent money on could ever be bad.
As for the 'you're still gonna buy it' bit, well, remember that these people most likely bought Let's Go as well. They lack impulse control, and assume that because they can't resist purchasing a game with the label 'Pokemon' on it, that you must not be able to resist either. Hell, from what I've seen, the majority of these shill threads pop up during working hours. It seems likely to me that they really are exactly what they accuse us of being. Manchildren who will buy these games no matter what's wrong with them.
