> best memory of that gen I like to battle, and it was hard to find opponents back then in a small town and obviously no internet connectivity. So the chances I had to link cable up stick in my mind from back then. Venusaur has long been my favorite, and I remember battling the toughest challenger I found (kid could recognize all the Pokemon cries), sleep powdering his Mewtwo, then taking it out with Solar Beam. Not smart strategy really, but I hadn't thought we were using Mewtwos, and I had no other answers. And then it was a thrill to topple him with my favorite.
