I went into the Gardenia fight overconfident since Deryon, Spike, and Mistress were overleveled. The plan was to have Deryon and Spike sweep her team, with Mistress as a backup.
It was all going well, but by the time I got to her last Pokemon, Breloom, my team was all paralyzed/sleeping and that Breloom fucked my shit up. Five out of six died against it.
Oh yeah and Zipper died against Cheryl, which I didn't remember was a thing in the original, it was pretty a unexpected fight.
