After seeing Jasmine's exp curve I decided she'd be best as a late-game replacement, so I put in omanyte in the meantime, and due to my autism of not having two water-types I replaced Marceline with Elphaba so I wouldn't have to risk anyone getting poisoned.
Falkner wasn't too hard since he didn't have Mud Slap. Pidgey couldn't touch Scarlet (hell yeah Keen Eye!), but then Scarlet got into level 11 so it wouldn't obey anymore. Omanyte and Growlithe stalled out his roosts and Elphaba finished with poison damage, so no losses.
all my pokemon count from a different OT (didn't know what my secret ID was and don't know how to check), so they get boosted exp which is good for grinding but there's the level cap now which sucks. I think it makes this run harder though because I can't super overlevel (at least until I beat claire).

My plan for bugsy is to set up Omanyte on his Metapod and get to +6 defense with Withdraw, then start using rollout. Alternatively Grimer can set up hardens on kakuna and then stall out with poison.
I need to drop Eevee at level 14 until I get a thunderstone (Jolteon gets thundershock at 15 and it's the only special move it gets until Thunder at 71 (I get charge beam at Olivine though!)), so who should be my in-the-meantime replacement? leaning toward babydoll at the moment.
Also is Gen 3 Type Challenge Guy still doing his run? I'd like to see how he's doing.
