You can only get to Togepi not making sense as a Fairy type if you ignore Togekiss being a winged cherub-like spirit of happiness. You can only get to Mr. Mime not making sense as a Fairy type if you ignore historical characterization of fairies as anthropomorphic and crafters of illusion. You simply exclude historical and modern characteristics of fairies as you please in order to come to tendentious conclusions. Just admit you're asspained about Bug types getting another wallop instead of pretending not to know what fairies are.
