Lead Ivy to Sleep Powder as her Poli Flip Turns into Mantine, swap into Lanturn to make it chew its Wacan Berry then Thunder Wave and actually end up critting it to take it out in one hit! Nice. Ferroseed is out, I pivot to Carkoal, even though it is raining I get off quite a lot of damage with Incinerates and Misty swaps Poli in on the last before I kill. So I swap Appletun, some more swapping happens, I kill Toxicroak with Donphan, out is Ludicolo.
The plan here was basically to send in Tentacool and hope it could weather hits from this mon, I did have Liquid Ooze for Giga Drain, and once Tentacool got weak I sent in Appletun to dodge one crit and kill with Apple Acid. I killed it with good enough HP where Appletun could also bulk through and kill Starmie with Lanturn finishing off Politoed.

None of them are really worth talking about - Pokemaniac Herman maybe came the closest to being dangerous, as he's a double-based sun team with threats like Victreebel or Cherrim, but Golduck's Cloud Nine and Fearow did a good job of shutting that down.

>>48770448Lanturn is always my personal favorite, it's always such a useful and versatile Pokemon. Beyond that, Starmie, Snorlax, and Muk have rarely if ever let me down.
>>48774630Fantina is a real difficulty spike yeah. I'd recommend going back and getting Substitute from the Old Chateau, then trying to set up on one of her earlier mons. Beyond that, if you can get Golbat into Crobat that would work real well.
