I know they aren't standard birdwings (no coverts or "individual feathers"), but I'm really hooked on them looking like sunbeams.
He has a headguard-like beak helmet thing because I always imaging them to be servants of the sun.
It's a bit OD at the moment, especially in terms of colour, but I'm going to whittle that down (I just copied Blue's colours and tried to match them). I don't like the Warquila shoulderpads, so I removed them.
I'm also going to just trace Blue's Solacari and just do some slight edits according to survey critique to see if we've been straying too far. I'll also apply my edits to Blue's so it retains as much as that sort of curiosity that it can.
So, thoughts on direction?
