>>46644944I'd rather have the people who DON'T like Typhlosion explain why. There's all this universal love for Charizard when he's just a Mary Sue dad bod dragon.
Typhlosion is actually an interesting monster that's never been done before. He can be fuzzy and snuggly during downtime chillins, and turn on the heat and badassery when need be. He can go bipedal or quadrupedal, makes a great steed, all three evolution stages are distinctive yet share all these same qualities. Cyndaquil is an SSS-tier shouldermon and Quilava stands out eternally with his teen angst energy.
It's one of the better designed Pokémon to this day in the entire franchise, easily one of the most versatile and attainable starters from an IRL training standpoint, and absolutely number one on the hetero scale as far as Fire-type starters go.
