Stuff like the seals from DPP, being able to reskin your ball to another style.
And maybe from a mechanic standpoint you can have stuff like ball 'environs' for each type and special mechanisms that add things for different natures to boost pokemon happiness and maybe even heal/revive/restore some PP after winning battles?
