>>12510718Little fun-fact about that Rachel Ray hot plate, everytime something gets placed on it, that bitch utters an annoying phrase. Of course, since she's a human from the human time period, I'm not able to get any of her schtick.
Just to play around with it though, I hover my hand over the plate. And then waggle it a few times to get some multiple responses out of the device.
>"I AM OUTRAAAAAGEEEEOUS!">"I'm a HOT, SMOKIN' MAMA!">"GET OUTTA HERE, GURL!""Alright, enough of that."
Of the people in the crowd that I had found notable, Mantine was one of them. A friend back from the old days, I thought about talking to him, but he was already in a conversation with the Captain, so I decided to save it for later.
He had a weird cylinder on his head, I couldn't for the life of me pinpoint what it really was.
Since he was busy, I settled with just leaving him on the backburner, but I knew we would cross paths eventually.
Instead, I shifted my focus to a Helioptile, not a Pokemon I was well aware of, so-to-speak, but I was sure I wouldn't have any trouble communicating with him. He was just an electric-lizard, nothing big to write home about.
Helioptile was generating electricity in the rear of the room, for what reason, I didn't know. Maybe he was just trying to gather attention?
Everytime a patron walked past him, Helioptile would try effortlessly to get their attention, but they always kept walking and pretended he wasn't even there, causing him much distress, "Dang! I knew I had a sale just then!"
