>>47764829No because in Pokemon at least when it comes to the creatures/species do not mean "Gender" as in the "Gender Identity" sense, but the "Biological Gender" of the creature. Which would better be described as the literal Japanese translation of the word: "Sex". So when Pokemon games say "Its male/female gendered" its really saying "Its male/female sexed" which makes sense as its all about biology in these context, not the way the Pokemon identifies.
I'd say the fact that they had an openly trans MtF woman in the series (Beauty Nova) and the series is pretty open minded when it comes to...well everything, its likely very progressive.
