I think I'll just review the dlcs, my opinion on the maingame hasn't really changed from 'dated, but alright', I also don't really think I can really do my usual formatting either kek, I'll just go dlc by dlc
>DLC 1
Very nothing. It's basically just the Greninja battle and to set you up for what the rest of the dlc is like. Honestly I think it feels...idk, out of place? now that the other dlcs came out, like it feels more like a postgame teaser for the dlc rather than a dlc. Having to fight it with only 3 mons is dumb
>DLC 2
Being forced to bring Dielebi is really dumb. I mind the 'only 3 pokemon' bit less here because you have AI partners (of varying competency) that help soak up hits and ack the random move AI
The 'KANTOOOOOOOOOO starter megas and is going out of control!' bit also wasn't really needed imo, outside of maybe CHARIZARD since that fucks up the circus for Gengar to have fixed at the start of dlc 3.
>DLC 3
The dungeon was pretty neat (if 'can't see shit' territory at times). The final boss was a huge jump in difficulty, and I really don't like 'trainer has 6 pokemon with multiple hp bars' shit, but realistically I also know that it's a consequence of having the starters and legendaries be available for them.
>DLC 4
The dungeon was pretty neat and despite my kvetching I didn't actually mind the inverted controls kek, it was only annoying when you were quickly swapping between the MC and the Alter
As retarded as the final boss gauntlet is, it's also the peak of the game imo, and the dlc really should've ended here instead of Vakuum doing the le timeline shit.
