the game was in beta for 5 YEARS
the guys are so incompetent they over run scheduled maintenance by HOURS every time
they introduce NEW BUGS every update
they are heavily understaffed and have low resources, skills and labor.
there will be ALOT of accounts that have used the promo codes, even a script that will search the trade logs, GLOBAL trade logs (as if the server will be able to handle that live)
(oh it say's 'at the end of a promotion' lel)
the accounts will need to be vetted manually, to check for creation date and trade date to what account.
the database is probably not comprehensive and these 2 dates will have to be cross referenced.
This is just scareware tactics damage control because they where retards (again) in the first place and didnt think HUH FREE PACKS AND SHIT, PEOPLE WONT EXPLOIT THAT HURRDURR
I doubt these retards have the time resources or balls to do whats needed.
