ORAS Brendan still has the prominent red vest and hat, and GBA Red is now brunette and swaps some colors but cuts a similar silhouette. The Johto gals share the twin-tailed hair, which may well have been how an overt Kris redesign's hair would have looked, but with nothing else to go on it might as well be coincedence. Even doing what Adventures did would have been enough.
