>>15775882You generally want one hard counter and one solid check to all top threats. Simply looking at usage stats and making sure you can counter the top 20 is a pretty good way to start.
Good stall teams also tend to include a solid win condition. This can be anything ranging from residual damage (Hail, Toxic Spikes, Scald, etc) to specific Pokemon like CM Latias or any generic lategame cleaner.
If you're looking for a core to start out with you could try the good old Slowbro/ Amoonguss/ Heatran.
