If anything Mew complicates the experiment and makes it far more likely to fail as your artificial womb is under your complete control, Mew isn't nor is its body.

The entry is bullshit and I consider the fact its never referenced again while contradictory things pop up like vats and the whole breeding system; I think its safe to say it been retconned.
