With regards to that theory, what’s the explaination for UBs being a class of their own? Between the different way beast balls interact with them, all having the same ability, and the aura that surrounds them when they go into battle, even in their own world, I get the sense that the lore pretty much says they’re not Pokemon, in any timeline, they just serve as make-shift Pokemon since they made it to the Pokeverse.
