You don't write down or use every idea you have in your head. You keep what works and throw out what doesn't. Do you have no concept of logical consistency? In that backstory I showed that this thing can see all threads of fate, meaning it can all the future and the past when taken to its logical conclusion, and unwravel them in distant past with the simple manipulation of a stone, that means it can easily erase its own mistakes and still get you even if you win. And similar to how Dark Matter can take a small phobia and turn you into a complete slave who will die for it without even knowing they were doing it, this thing can manipulate your fate to essentially do the same thing and turn you into a complete thrall.
I was looking for a logical escalation of power from Bitter cold to dark matter to ????, My abstract was Fate instead of Hate in line also with which PMD do you think? Explorers in Time? Its all consistent with the game world and Fate is even mentioned as not a concept but an anthropomorphized entity (though does that apply when Pokemon are doing the anthropomorphizing) which was the inspiration.
However I realized I went overboard, this thing isn't going to back down because a bunch of pokemon with the lives of insects beat it up, in fact it'd see it coming and thus wouldn't change its mind and would be just as much a threat.
That is why I threw it out. There was no story, everything I said was fleshing out this character which I didn't even finish either as I abandoned it as too OP a concept.
Did I like that little backstory with Mew, yes which is why I shared it. Its a hell of a lot more imaginative then "There were humans here. They are gone now." and its no more a stretch then the legends behind characters like Arceus or hell even Mew itself.
Feel free to TL;DR as it clear you aren't reading this anyway. But they're fun to write.
