>>48702417Finally get some Flying types and Muk, so I actually have somewhat of an answer for Fighting types. I haven't thought about the E4, but I'm actually starting to get really worried for Marshall, he's already not that easy in a 'normal' BW2 Challenge run and most of my mons either are Fighting weak or have bad Defense. But we'll see.
>HughMan, for as much as I like this game the rival fights really do feel like such an afterthought. Boldore took down Unfezant, Flareon Simisage, and the AI actually pulled a 200 IQ play by Encoring Alomomola on the turn I used Aqua Ring with Samurott, but unfortunately for Hugh he literally could not do enough damage to overwhelm even one turn of Aqua Ring and Leftovers.
>DraydenSo, I could have just probably swept through this fight with Raticate, but that honestly was getting pretty boring, and, especially now with a Toxic Orb in hand, trivial to set up, so I decided not to. Instead, I had new member Muk lead to Ice Gem Ice Punch his Druddigon as I think it went for Dragon Tail so I outsped and killed. Flygon came out, knew Muk was bulky to live a crit Earth Power, it didn't crit anyway and I easily finished it off. On Altaria, I set up Acid Armor in preparation for Haxorus, but it began Cotton Guarding up, so my Ice Punches only 3HKO. It also landed Sing, getting me to low enough HP to where I didn't feel comfortable taking out Haxorus anymore with Muk, so after I dealt enough damage to make him heal I swapped to Mantine, set up Hail, then killed Altaria and Haxorus with Blizzards. Bit risky, but hey.
>>48704069Good fucking shit anon. He is more or less the hardest boss until the E4, but that's kind of how FRLG is built anyway.
>Makes sense for this WatchhogYeah, I really want him to get to the end. Hopefully won't need to make him cheat death as many times now with some better teammates though. I hope I can get through deathless period, but I do doubt it.
