My main wonder regarding Therese is, what happened to the rest of her team?
Did she release them into the wild, give them away, or, dare I say, box them? Did they ever make a return, or was that their final appearance?
Beyond that, Therese does seem easily swayed by emotions if she dissolved her team, which she invested effort into evolving, for Benjamin. Nevertheless, being attached to starter pokemon is understandable.
Benjamin's rough history and fear of rejection appear to parallel C/E's Fiona. Maybe those similarities were intentional, or perhaps, they occurred by chance. I could see both factors manifesting within Benjamin through feelings of self-doubt regarding his present and future actions, even if his behavior has already become more restrained. Past these first scenes, however, I imagine his Magician ability would lead to amusing mind tricks.
For Helga and Farah, I previously assumed that they were other people rather than pokemon, so this clears them up a bit, and I hope they do eventually receive the attention they deserve.
As for Amy, my understanding of her is that she has a happy-go-lucky attitude until someone mentions her history. Although the statement is fairly vague, I interpret this as foreshadowing darker themes later in the story.
I, again, greatly appreciate seeing more of O/C, even if it is all still in development.
