This right here is the biggest problem with evasion. It very easily creates a negative feedback loop if it works even once. One missed hit means +1 boost for the user, meaning the opponent's chances of hitting are lessened even further. Each consecutive miss compounds this problem, and what if the evasion user has something like Ingrain? Can you imagine a fucking Mega Venusaur, that has healing on standby, is immune to poison, can't be phased out, and has some stupid fucking bulk alongside it with +evasion?
