Y'know, all that talk about the franchise getting stale made me wonder: what are you guys' ideas of a "revitalizing story"?
Lemme explain. Franchises like Batman used to also be in similar situations to Pokémon, where it was fairly relevant, but at one point stagnated. Then, The Dark Knight Returns happened, and it made Batman relevant again, to the point where people still cite and reference the story all the time, despite being almost 40 years old now.
I want to hear you people's conceptions of something like that. Of a Pokémon story so impactful that it can stay in everyone's minds.
