>>54323453There's like a dozen things wrong with that shit statement but I'll just name a few.
1. Most players order their own stuff to fit them, but all bats and gloves need to be within strict specifications to prevent unfair play. (Hey pokemon has specifications for tournaments to)
So the leauge having people press buttons, when that has nothing to do with the game and isn't playing the game like pressing buttons in pokemon is literally playing the actual fucking game makes so sense, but on top of that players wouldn't want your situations bats or mitts anyway because they aren't their own because it takes TIME to break in a gloves so it's confortable (oh right a proper team takes time to use)
2. There's no such thing as "best bats and mitts" they aren't pokemon where shit has stats. So comparing the equipment to pokemon in this regard is fuckin stupid.
3. If you are caught with tampered gloves or bats you can face a 10 game suspension and that debate with the spider tact was an example of baseball doing what the pokemon company already does if you bring pokemon that meet the specifications of the tournament or hacked pokemon. Only the argument for the tact in baseball is that you have more control over th ball, so less likely to crack a player in the nose.
A safety issue that has actual benefits en for those on the opposite team. Something that the people who are lazy and gen pokemon can't even pretend to have since it only benefits the person cheating.
I could also go into how this...imaginary button leauge doesn't even work as an argument for genning but I'm on mobile.
And of course you don't know what I'm saying because you don't know fuck all about what your talking about
