Man I think I hated gen 5 because I was just young, I was 11 and not that bright and I didnt like the pokemon, though today I actually have a handful of faves there but the pokemon availability in the first games was sparse until really late in the game. But I think I just found it all to be so tedious when all I wanted to do was beat the game.But now a days, I love that region and I love a lot of its mons. I feel like a lot of todays anons are from those days and thats why they hated gen 5 back in the daybut whenever it comes up on this board the region and games get a lot of love and usually the threads are nice and full of appreciate. But thats just my personal theory now.
