The ability to absorb spores would've been better in a generation where a) Sleep turns reset after a switch and b) there did not exist an entire type that automatically did the same thing. And even at +1, Goopra's attack is nothing special. How common is Spore these days anyway?
The design is the same bottom-heavy theropod template that Sugi has been rehashing for almost 20 years, and this is probably the weakest incarnation. At best, it's still extremely lazy.
