I don't hate my art for what it is, I got over that a while ago. I draw purely because I find it fun and I wouldn't be drawing if I didn't think it wasn't worth it. It's more like, " I had this idea of what it was going to look like, but it didn't really come out that way".
It's more like, when you compare yourself to other artists whose style you're trying to learn from. You compare your art to theirs as you try to replicate their style, but also create your own.
I understand people getting upset when artists you think are really good are unhappy with their work, because to them it's not bad. It's just the artist being unhappy that it didn't turn out the way they envisioned it. Like I spent 10 minutes trying to decide if I wanted to add another fluffy pokemon, and though I had the idea in my head, I couldn't make it work on my computer.
But I don't /hate/ my art, or else I wouldn't be doing it. You are your own worst critic, so you just see the mistakes, or what could've been better more than other people.
