That aside, anyone else thinks its kind of suspicious that not only is he both a Gym Leader and an E4 member, his Gym is the closest to the Zero Gate? And the only other structure in the game closer to the Zero Gate is the Pokemon League building.
I think there might be some hidden or unused plot about the Pokemon League being behind Sada/Turo's project. Geeta has a connection due to her Glimmora and she's also suspiciously absent from being involved in the game's main story events. Since we know Larry works for Geeta, and by extension the Paldea Pokemon League, he might be some kind of Men in Black type agent that keeps an eye out on potential Champions who might meddle in the League's secret stuff.
