People, this is legit the saddest time I've had with Pokémon, ever.
When the dex cull got first announced, I got awfully pissed off. That announcement alone only spelled doom to me, and to this date my mind on the matter has not changed. And day after day more and more reasons to not buy the game arose, and mind you, I'd have to buy a game PLUS a Switch, which I would've done gladly if Sword and Shield were way above mediocre.
But what saddens me is that, as mediocre as the games are, everyone is swallowing them, and worse, people are showing how they're having fun n shit. I don't mind people having fun, what bothers me is that people are unwilling to demand something better and instead just buy the games - and this is not just those who genuinely like the games but also those who criticize the games as much as I do.
And now I feel really alienated. I still like Pokémon's lore, world building, and gameplay in general, I just don't like the shit GF pulled and how they're pulling more of this in the foreseeable future. But I just cannot relate to everyone else anymore and other people also baffle me.
What's wrong, /vp/? Anyone else feel like this? Any words of advice?
