Gen 1: Introduced to Pokemon, having a good time being a kid and looking at all the cool little animals. I've been a Science Fiction sort of person for a while now back then, interested in machines and science and crap.
Gen 2: Cool shit, a sequel. By now, I've discovered I like to wear heavy clothing, coats, pants, slacks, etc. It's OK if I didn't succeed back then, I was having fun.
Gen 3: So many fond memories and lessons were learned. The Regis were my favorites along with Zangoose, and when Metagross was used by Steven, I immediately wanted the fuck out of one. When beating him, I went to his house, and Steven immediately became my favorite champion because of his Beldum present. And then I found out about Deoxys, and it instantly became one of my favorites. Good times all around, honestly.
Gen 4: Oh boy, where do we begin. Bullshit everywhere, no one cares what I have to say, etc. Porygon's line has always been one of my favorites due to it essentially being a virtual Pokemon, so I loved the inclusion of PorygonZ. Regigigas may be pretty useless, but I loved the shit out of it regardless. And Magnezone stayed in my party forever, simply because fuck yeah Magnemite. Sneasel and Weavile are still two of my top favorites. A poltergeist Pokemon was one of my dreams, so I was really giddy when I could capture it right away. Aside from that, issues didn't stop me from...
Gen 5: It was a breath of fresh air, from the really slow and boring Gen IV, and I ended up liking a lot more Pokemon in this era once I revisited older generations. If I could fit about 95% of the Pokedex in there, I would. Either way, one of my instant favorites was Reshiram due to its look, its turbine tail, and typing. Zekrom was close, but I just didn't like it as much. Either way, still one of my favorite generations.
Gen 6: Currently going to marathon all the previous gens my way to ring in Gen 6.
