Longest search I have done was for over 4 weeks, soft reseting for a shiny Charmander on FireRed, and never got it.
Then I filled about 10,11 boxes with zoruas, never got one either.
But yesterday started trying to get either a shiny pikachu or pacharisu on one of my friend safaris, started at 11am, trying on and off all day.
About 1am, I said to myself I am not going to bed until a shiny appears.
2 minutes later, a female Shiny Pacharisu shows her adorable face :)
Called her Pinky, caught a normal male and called him Blue to keep her company.
