Their pokemon were about 10-15 levels above mine - and I had pretty much steamrolled everything until that point.
But when you hit with a SE STAB move and only take like 1/4 of the enemy's health, you are in for a bad time.
Add in that (besides the bug guy) none of them really stuck strongly to their "theme".
Flint has like 1 or 2 actual fire pokemon?
I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but it does make the fights harder than many other E4s.
And even the thematic pokemon didn't just stick to their theme, but had really good coverage.
I think it was a good fight, but strange why they had such a level spike.
But then again... People like this anon has pokemon at lvl 69 which of course makes it a lot easier.
