In the Pokemon world, I would live in Ecruteak City. It is not only quiet, comfortable, and chock full with Johto history with the local theater, Burned Tower, and the Bell Tower. You can also access the beach by going to Olivine, go fish at the Lake of Rage, spend the day in National Park, and buy everything you need and enjoy the busy night life in Goldenrod City.
