Yeah. It is so difficult to unsee it as "fanservice" design nowadays when that was never the design's intention compared to the recent waifus. On it's very own merit, its actually a really cool design. It's elegant but has an "eerie" vibe and "alien" feel somewhat which is clever for a "monster" design. But boy did the waifufaggotry associated with it infected the entire fandom like a plague. Its fucking ridiculous.
