I lead with Obstruct to burn myself and Switcheroo to give the Flame Orb to my opponent. I usually just do that against mons that are likely to have Leftovers (or ones that I know have Leftovers because I saw them use it) since that cancels out the chip damage from being burned.
Knock-off is there for anti-ghost coverage and, obviously, to knock off items.
