I did in Gen 4, although I did do some *slight* cheating to do so in that I used an action replay code to modify the speed at which safari zone objects leveled up (the amount of time you'd need to wait for certain mons to spawn is frankly ridiculous) everything else was legit though, including trading with others to obtain what I couldn't in my own copy
