Corviknight is the final evolution of the regional bird. First stage is a small jackdaw/crow with proportions like Fletchling. Not sure what the middle stage looks like.
Gamefreak have tried to go for an "open and expansive" feeling world, but a lot of the areas (at least the early ones) are void of anything interesting.

I want to say the Galarian Pikachu line is the Sword exclusive but I don't think they'd do that with Pikachu seeing as it's the mascot. There's an early game trade for Pikachu with Meowth shortly before Nessa's gym,
Storyline outside of "beat gyms, become champ" takes a backseat for the first 1/3rd of the game, not sure when it comes in big time.
