The so-called humans in Pokemon are routinely outclassed in power by the monsters that they fight alongside, and those "humans" have been shown to be capable of things that no real human will ever be able to do. I don't care who you are, being in the center of a massive explosion capable of levelling a well-built research lab will fucking kill you. Happiny, the baby Pokemon with the lowest in-game physical attack attribute of any known Pokemon ever, has been shown lifting up an entire pond's worth of ice without any visible exertion on its part. And to use an example from the current anime, we have seen a Magikarp (said to be the weakest Pokemon ever in lore) launch itself into orbit and survive re-entry and landing unaided and unharmed.
