>>46537609Charizard was the "cool" choice when gen one came out, everyone wanted red version and charmander, I had blue and always used squirtle because a turtle with cannons was cooler than a giant plant monster and a boring dragon. I later learned that venesaur was indeed much better than both and used Bulbasaur in leafgreen and X. Charizard doesn't make me seethe, but it is hilarious to see all the shilling GF has to do to keep it relevant
