>The bottle caps aren't tradeable, nor can you use them on Temtem that don't have your OT, so it's literally all on you to get up to a maximum of 300 bottle caps at the absolute worst, while you only get 1 or 2 a week, if any at all>Evolving a Temtem is based on how many levels it got while in your party, which makes any high level Temtem totally impossible to evolve if it's near the level cap of 100, which incentivizes using the shitty breeding system where getting an egg and hatching an egg can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour as it's not based on steps>The game strands you at a certain point without any of the "HMs" you got by this point, taking nearly half of the story to get them back. Imagine being an early access player, having to wait nearly a year to get them back>Biggest competitive issue I've personally witnessed is how oppressive poison status is, 1/8th hp per turn and anything from breathing to fainting can apply 5 turns of it. Poison type tanks sit on the field and do whatever they want as they only have one weakness, which is uncommon to hit hard, while having immunity to its own broken status condition on top of it>Fuck Deceit Aura, which is entry Trick Room>Still pissed about Pocus>Trainer customization costs a fortune on your wageslave salary, and so do dyes>Getting held items are primarily from quests, and all of them are fetch quests that make you walk across an entire island, twice>Being an MMO means you're at risk of spoilers on certain Temtem at literally any given moment, while you can't interact with any of the ghosts running/standing around the place>Co-op is actively a detriment, as you split the exp and money with your partner, despite how little of you get without oneThere's probably more, but that's all I can think of atm. Rant over.
Again though, the only thing Temtem did right was the battle system. Everything else is total dogshit, from Temtem design to how the devs act
