We never cared about how Ash would WIN but how he would LOSE, and the way Ash lost was complete and utter horseradish. Ash. Can't. Win. The. League. When will people get this through their heads? Ash isn't winning the league until the anime is over, and the anime isn't over until the games stop selling. In America, the anime is dead, but in Japan, it's one of the most popular long-time running anime over there.
