As you try to think of some way to justify why Serena woke up resting on a bag with goat saliva on her face, she ascends the ledge, "Calem, why are we back at the ranch?"

This is the part where you expect a cold scolding or something akin to that for a number of things you may have fucked up on throughout today so far. But, shockingly enough, that never comes. Instead she does something else entirely.
"Did you like the breakfast...?"
"Huh?--Oh! Yeah, definitely! Thanks for going to all that trouble, but I think it may have been a bit too much.."
"It wasn't enough as far as I'm concerned. And you're welcome, I worked hard on it, so I'm really glad to see you that you appreciated it."
This is... a nice change of pace from the expected formula. Serena approaches the Skiddo and gives it a loving pat, emitting a handful of hearts from him, "I really dislike missing out on things, however. How long was I out?"
And so begins the quick little refresher course you give to Serena in order to enlighten her to everything that's happened ever since she fell asleep. Gold watch encounter barring, she doesn't need to know that you know about that.
When that song and dance is done with, Serena looks out onto the sea, "Not as much as I feared, how fortunate. So, you really went out of your way to make sure I didn't wake up exhausted, is that so?"
"Y-Yeah, I just thought I should repay the favor, that's all!"
"Consider it repaid, in that case."
