>>30797738Or... we can reboot the series' mechanics: get rid of hackbait (IVs), all pokemon now float around BST 500-600 regardless of stage. Most evolutions are slightly stronger, but change the pokemon's strengths, for example look at Torracat and Incineroar. Legendaries are allowed to go above BST 600 still, but still aren't allowed competitively. Make leveling and EV training the main focus of raising Pokemon, with breeding being there to control natures, egg moves, and to aim for shiny pokemon.
Also... yeah, buffing Ice and Rock isn't a bad idea.
