Pre-phys/spc split hurts a lot of pokemon too. Feraligatr, which already has to compete with pokemon like Tentacruel, Lanturn, and Slowbro also has to deal with its best moves being special only when its built to be a physical attacker. That really sucks.

Your best bet is to spam the X items like I did. It's just such a dumb and lame way to fight fucking Red of all people. Would it have killed them to make MT Silver pokemon a bit stronger? At least so I can get to lvl 60 without scratching my eyes out?
