If you choose random IVs + EVs existing, you have to pay significant amounts of money to alter IVs/access the EV trainer, which is a useless barrier that just forces you to steal a bunch of nuggets from wild Meowths for an hour, or just not use the feature.
>Changes AI to be MUCH smarterThe AI literally cheats (i.e. it won't use Hypnosis if your Pokemon has a Chesto Berry, also gets advantages like weather being set up at the start of battle without needing a weather mon) and, if your Pokemon has a Mega Stone equipped, the AI will always use the Mega's typing to determine which move to use (i.e. if you have a Gyarados with its Mega Stone vs. a ground type with EQ, the AI will repeatedly use EQ on your Gyarados even when it hasn't mega evolved)
