It's been hit decently hard by fursuittification, but otherwise a lot of the newer dark types are really good. It certainly has some real stinkers though, Incineroar was a massive disappointment and Obstagoon is probably the worst cross gen evo any pokemon has ever received, far worse than the likes of Ambipom and Lickilicky. Kingambit was almost a great design, but its stupid hair chair is one of the dumbest design-gimmicks in the franchise and completely ruins the design for me.
I understand that Iron Jugulis is an objectively lazy design, but I like Hydreigon too much to not also like robot Hydreigon.
