>>44960442I feel you, but it's more than that to me. On average, the Pokemon designs looked as uninspired as the worst of Gen V. The games just looked uninspired and low effort as hell. And then there was that business with trying to avoid putting in old Pokemon so they could just sell us our old favorites back. It just felt peak scummy and not worth the cost of a new game. If somebody told the me of five years ago that the time would come that I would just not buy a new generation of Pokemon, I'd be in disbelief. Today's been my first day back on /vp/ in nearly a year. I missed the place and miss when I could feel excited about Pokemon.
