People will eat up anything because they're retarded. I know people who are entirely against the Dex cut but still fucking buy the games because they have no wiil. The whole SwSh dexcut issue made me realize just how many people consider Pokemon to be their identity. I thought I was one of those people but I'm not. Those people that live & breath Pokemon will always accept whatever is given to them even if it's shit. Any criticisms towards the developers of their franchise will be met with wild retorts, spite and pettiness. There is no hope for the franchise. We already lost. The games are selling well and there is nothing we can do. GF will continue to strip features & take shortcuts. All because people can't control themselves. No other game developer on the planet would be able to get away with what Gamefreak gets away with but they're given a pass because they make Pokemon.
The funny thing is, it all started with Pokemon GO. That shitty bare bones fucking phone app is what killed the franchise.
The only hope we have left for the series is to play hacked/modded versions. I'm almost positive people are already starting on implementing all the Pokemon that were culled as well as texture overhauls and the likes.
